European Association of Urology 5th Experts in Stone Disease Conference 2022

We all must missed the personal interaction with peers and colleagues that we so cherished in the past. To that end, we are happy to announce the next 5th Experts in Stone Disease (ESD) conference in Athens/ Greece on 10^th and 11^th June 2022, in collaboration with the International Urolithiasis Society (IUS) and the Hellenic Urological Association (HUA). We do look into the future with re-kindled hope and enthusiasm. More than ever before, we need to stick together (whilst socially distancing) and help each other to achieve our common goals.

There is no doubt that we will face unprecedented challenges in these uncertain times with travel, rules and regulations and the new hybrid approach. We simply cannot predict whether there will be travel and gathering restrictions in place. We will plan this meeting as a hybrid meeting which means a strong online presence, in addition to personal attendances.

As we are looking at ever increasing additions in surgical armamentarium, and advanced research in basic sciences, urology is facing new and tougher challenges. As urologists and researchers, we look for that competitive edge through which the fraternity will excel new innovations as cornerstones.
