This meeting was originally a live in person conference scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2020. Due to COVID-19, this will now be a virtual conference to take place Friday, September 25, 2020.
The 14th Annual Women and Ischemic Heart Disease Symposium will explore sex and gender-specific issues in coronary microvascular dysfunction, screening for heart disease in young women, management of diabetes and heart disease, menopause and heart disease and explore the social determinants of women’s health. Other important topics include best practices in ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, the importance of social media and leadership to advance women’s cardiovascular health, as well as new guidelines updates, and a unique look into the world of virtual medicine and sex differences in remote monitoring, adherence and symptomatic conditions. Attendees are also invited to attend an optional afternoon tea with faculty at the conclusion of the conference.
